Does not clean the surface / liner of the pool This vacuum worked but never touches the actual liner of the pool, therefore all it does is pick up debris on the floor of the pool. Even though it did climb the sloped wall, (not the vertical) it doesn't clean the actual liner like a brush would. If a clean surface is wanted look for a vacuum that includes a rotating brush or at least bristles to contact the actual liner.
Consistent and reliable Bag attachment a little weak but functions well.

A ste.p back from previous versions All went together easily and straight forward. Some things on this model are different from previous versions, the feed to the Polaris has a much thicker tube and the tail cleaner has a tube that is much thinner and has a propensity to crease. It's this tube that is a problem. The Polaris gets stuck on steps and during the time it's stuck there the tail with its brush gets sucked into the bag and that jams the system and prevents the Polaris from moving. Great pool cleaner This is a great pool cleaner!
Wow this cleaner made a big difference! I bought a fancy Hayward cleaner a few years ago when we had our pool remodeled by a major a——-e. It’s performance has deteriorated over time to where it was useless but since Hayward only allows authorized dealers to work on them it’s expensive and hard to find. I wasn’t about to ask the person that worked on our Pool to fix it, so I did some looking and found this beauty on Amazon.
