The unit works as advertised and i am sure an in ground pool would be perfect. However I am using it in an above ground pool and the circulation current is just strong enough to force the unit to slide along the bottom and have extreme difficulty climbing the walls. So much so that I discontinued the wall feature. Yes I have ensured all air is out of the unit. It needs to be about 5 to 10 pounds heavier to compensate for pool circulation current. Otherwise the cleaner works fine.

The Polaris moves about effortlessly. Our other sweeper kept getting stuck on the corners.

The control unit to my system went out and Solaris replaced the unit within a week. Great customer service!
