I had a different brand of pool cleaner for many years and was very unhappy with it. My pool guy referred me to the Polaris Alpha iq and I am pleasantly surprised with it. It actually works great and does everything that it says it is suppose to do. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality pool cleaner. I have only had it for about a month and I hope that it will be reliable as well but so far it is GREAT!

I've had a tiger shark and two aquabot's in the past. The polaris seems to work OK. The filter is the easiest so far to clean. It weighs a little bit more than my previous bots. The caddy is nice but you should have included a cover for it. Still getting used to the controls as it is different using bluetooth. Still waiting on my $150.00 rebate. I don't understand why that's taking so long.

The machine works except it doesn't pick up fine debris. It climbs the walls and cleans the floor as expected.

For floor cleaning and most walls it’s great. It’s been 2 months and it still has not learned the layout of our pool. It will not climb the one stair to the tanning ledge to clean I have to brush it down myself.

Robotic cleaners have a hard time with stairs and benches, as they can’t tell if it’s the top of the pool. Regular pool maintenance requires consistent brushing of the steps, benches, etc. Once the debris is dislodged from those areas, the cleaner can take care of it at the bottom or sides of the pool.
