On June 23, 2022, I paid $1,557.83 for the Alpha IQ Robotic Cleaner. It last 4 years and died. The case was brittle and fell apart and Pinch a Penny charged me $100 to tell me they couldn't fix it. I would not recommend buying one of these. I bought a Wybot C1 for around $445 from Amazon and it outcleans and outperforms the Polaris.

I am very happy and would gladly recommend it to anyone who has a pool and wants to enjoy it more frequently rather than spending time cleaning it. I am on my 4th Polaris/Zodiac Swimming Pool Robot Cleaner. I purchased my first one was a Zodiac 3010 WD (2WD) , in 2013 when installed the pool. It lasted ~4 years, with one repair instance. Horrible.. Didn't clean worth a shit and the dealer wouldn't stand behind it.. I literally had it in the water three times. Picked it up on a Friday, tried to return it on a Monday dealer said too bad.. Horrible product and experience.

Won’t pick up dead algae so I spent $87 on very fine basket. It doesn’t work either

Purchase new Alpha IQ+. Inboxes and put caddy together with no problems. Went to use for first time and the control panel buttons for start did not work, and the lift button was intermittent. We able to connect through app. The app work fine. So I had a bad control box. But was able to run with app jus to test. Whike it navigate fine, any lighter material does get pushed out the back and does not get sucked up. The screen was clean. My cheaper off brand worked better.
