Live it. It’s really a 5 star item, but our pool has a tanning ledge and the Polaris has a hard time running on it because the water is only 12” deep. Other than that this thing is the Roomba of pool sweepers. Love it & don’t have to worry about a booster pump wearing out.

Purchase new Alpha IQ+. Inboxes and put caddy together with no problems. Went to use for first time and the control panel buttons for start did not work, and the lift button was intermittent. We able to connect through app. The app work fine. So I had a bad control box. But was able to run with app jus to test. Whike it navigate fine, any lighter material does get pushed out the back and does not get sucked up. The screen was clean. My cheaper off brand worked better. At three years the $1,500 system fails, that means the cost to operate is $500 per year which is way too expensive. Failure is due to the Cleaner unit leaking water past the large gasket resulting in PCB board corrosion and a communication error 10. I’m sure engineers know there is an issue as there are TWO desiccant bags inside the motor housing to absorb water. Not happy as overall operating cost is way too high.

The robot over all does a great job however I'm constantly untangling the power cord before and after I put it in. Is it possible that its the material? And the screw connection to the power supply is becoming difficult to screw in and out. I foresee trouble with this after long term use. I just purchased the unit in August so it hasnt made a complete season yet.

Cleaned pool okay but didn't last long Piece of junk. 3 years old 1 month out if warranty errors for drive motor. $700 for replacement motor block. Why replace entire block when problem is for a single drive motor Was able to find the tiny drive motor and gearbox on ebay. These parts not available from manufacturer. Replaced motor lasted the next season and other motor failed. $1800 mistake do not buy this thing

My old P965IQ was better than my new AlphaIQ Alpha doesn’t climb to the water line it falls 1 foot short.This didn’t happen with the P965IQ
