The EPIC 8642 IQ is a much better bottom cleaner for my pool then the Quattro Sport was. That said there are some basic improvements that could be made for a machine that is so expensive. The door to remove the leaf basket has no latch, the plastic lid just bends to open and close which will eventually break. The vacuum mouth could be bigger to pick-up larger leafs. The unit could do a better job of cleaning if it truly mapped the pool.

Lightweight I like. Not sure about the basket…. Doesn’t get cleaned out very well Like my previous Dolphin filters Also the “wheeled cart” is not sturdy at all. It broke the first time I tried to move the vacuum. It’s very thin and cheap. The Dolphin one has bigger tires and thicker frame. Seems like it does t pick up as office y as my Dolphin. I have to run more cycles with this vac.

It picks up everything. Easy to take out. The cord does not tangle. Great cleaner, but a little on expensive side.

I would highly recommend the Polaris EPIC 8642 IQ robotic cleaner. As we all it Polly does a great job cleaning the floor and walls of our pool. We use it 3xs a week and would recommend it to anyone looking for an ingroynd pool cleaner
Got the Robot when we built our pool. It was included in the price, anyway, Robot works well and does climb the gunite walls well. Cleans our pool in about two hours. The only wish would be that the robot had a function that you could program the robot and have it clean the entire pool in a pattern instead of random pattern that it uses. Outside of that it's easy use and clean the filter. As technology moves on, I would by another one in the future.
