My Dolphin brand cleaner stopped working just shy of two years, so I decided to replace it with the Polaris Epic. Wow, what an improvement. Here's why: 1) The cost of the Polaris was 60-70% of the cost of the Dolphin. 2) The Polaris has the wall climb feature which makes it much easier to pull from the pool. 3) The debris basket of the Polaris is much larger and easier to remove and clean than the two smaller baskets of the Dolphin. 4) The Polaris is always connected to wi-fi, while getting the Dolphin to connect to wi-f... read more

doesnt seem to pick up as much as other cleaners. doesnt clean as well as other cleaners

I like the ease of using this cleaner--we have a huge pool and I have always wanted something to help with maintenance. This year we invested in this unit which does a good job picking up all the debris off the floor and walls. It's amazing someone invented such a smart submersible vacuum! The only issue is with algae that is heavy or stickier, it takes longer to get all of that up, so I need to run it for a couple cycles instead of only one.
