Robot is very easy to launch and retrieve. Extremely easy to clean and does a great job cleaning our 14 X 32 pool

Works great. Much better and quicker than our old vacuum. Like the phone app. The only recommendation, thing I wish it had, was a schedule I could set so it could run automatically. It seems I have to turn on manually every time I want to use. Unless there is a way? Would be great to set it to come on automatically so I don't have to remember.

So far the Polaris EPIC 8642 iQ, is doing what it suppose to do. I watched and read a lot of reviews on different cleaners. I choose the EPIC 8642 iQ for the dual brushes in the front and back of the cleaner. First tried it out right after Thanksgiving when the weather was nice and warm, and let it ran for about 3 hours instead of the programed time of 2 hours 15 or 30 minutes. We have named our new cleaner “Roberta” and she is great! Cleans extremely well and does not get stuck on that nasty step! Last Polaris cleaner P39 was named “Priscilla” because she always got “pissy” on the window, stuck on the nasty step and would be caught on the step for 2 hours! Roberta is THE Best cleaner ever!! So glad I went robotic.

The Polaris EPIC 8642 iQ robotic cleaner works great. It cleans the pool good and the basket is easy to access and clean. The only complaint is the swivel on the cord does not work very well. The cord is always getting tangled up. I believe it would work better if you turned it around, putting the swivel piece closer to the cord that is getting tangled up.

We don’t want to inundate you with too many suggestions, but have some tips to improve the cord tangling issue: 1) Remove the cleaner from the pool and lay the cable across the pool deck to relieve coiled memory 2) Allow the cleaner cable to enter the pool at the center of the length of the pool 3) Only use enough cable to reach the farthest point from the cable entry location 4) Gently ... read more
