1 month of use and I love it. Yes it has a few cons when compared to wired cleaners, removal from the pool, loss of wifi signal etc., but the cleaning power and algorithm is every bit as good as any wired cleaner I've ever seen, and the lack of a cable running across my pool deck, and super easy cleanup and compact storage FAR outweighs the cons. Battery with 2 1/2 hr runtime is more than enough for my 10,000 gal pool.

This unit is awesome! The only drawback is it loses signal once it goes under the water so you lose the timing clock that first begins when you start it. The manual says that when it’s charging if you get a blinking green light that the charger is bad so I took the first unit back and exchanged it. The second unit did the same thing and I just let it charge up and used it a couple of times and it is fine. I think it is a mistake in the manual, otherwise I would have given it five stars . Time will tell in terms of battery life but so far the Freedom cleaner has met all of our expectations. It cleans the pool thoroughly. In fact its the cleanest the pool has ever been. Cool wall climbing feature.

I bought the Polaris freedom because I just didn’t have the time to hand vacuum or brush anymore. With 4 kids I really didn’t want anything corded in the pool for the kids to swim around or take out every time they swim. It does a great job I put it in the pool and 2 and half hours later I pull it out and put it on a towel to dry off before setting on charger. It is the best thing I’ve bought for my pool. My robots name is Robbie, he does a fantastic job. I love the fact that I am not running a separate pump just for pool cleaning. He does a great job on the pool floor and walls. He even cleans my stairs, which I think is fantastic. Good job with this one.
