Overall I like the machine. My only disappointments are 1) the battery life could be a little longer, and 2) the pool "side cleaning" function is not very effective for the amount of battery life it uses.

The FREEDOM vacuum works as advertised in all modes. I love the cordless operation. One small criticism is that the trash basket is not as large as those of my former Polaris vacuums. My pool is surrounded by trees.

Five stars on cleaning floor, One star for cleaning walls and tile. It simply does not climb the walls enough to clean as advertised.

Have had the Polaris Freedom for about a month and have used it 10 to 15 times so far. Absolutely love it! Vacuumes and brushes the pool. I love to sit and just watch it. Mesmerizing. I am in the pool lounge chair and I feel so productive. Leaves and heavier debris is handled easily, but what surprised me the most was the amount of fine sand picked up and retained by the filter. Very easy to rinse out the filter, dry out and place back on the charger. Remote works well. Just love it!

Unit works beautifully. It was an easy set up, recharges beautifully and clans like a maniac. I love everything about it. So happy I chose Polaris.
