It’s been a godsend since installing our pool and getting rid of the small dirt without breaking our backs to manually vacuum!!

It doesn't stand up against dolphin products. It is advertised to be a smart robotic cleaner but the base model dolphin cleaners do more than Polaris. Polaris doesn't even honor rebate promotions that meet the criteria; only to refuse you after you purchased the product and give you a runaround for 30 days or more. Which go past the in-store product return date.

Cleaner keeps repeating same task and never cleans pool (about 60%) before shutting off. For example, it tries to climb the wall (even though I set it up for floor clean only) 4 or 5 times then backs off half way across the pool turns back and does it again in the same spot. Ready to send it back but I will call first to get things working properly.

A suggestion that will improve pool coverage is to ensure the cleaner cable is entering the pool at the center of the length of the pool and that only the required amount of cable is allowed into the pool. Essentially, you should only allow enough cable into the pool to cover the furthest point from the cable entry location in the pool. The p825 broke in about 9 months. It was fixed under warranty. Broke again at about 1.5 years fixed again under warranty. Thwn it broke at about 2.1 years all the plastic sprockets were worn out. It would have cost $250 in oarts to fix not worth it. Never would buy this or reccomend this to anyone

First poll robot didn’t work, second one finally did. Still waiting for my rebate. Not happy.

Robot does not navigate the pool at all. It cleans the same area over and over. Tried all the recommendations such as leaving the cord laying out in a straight line in the sun etc. Extremely poor performance.

The vacuum gets stuck on the deep end skimmers even when the filter is off. I have resorted to sitting by the pool watching so I can pull the wire every few minutes.

I have had three Polaris pool cleaners in the past seven years. The second one I purchased three years ago. The cost was above $800.00. It died. I had to purchase the third one, the same model, a month ago. It cost me in excess of $900.00. What kind of review would you write?
