Does exactly as it should Can't complain, it does as it is intended. Probably not an easy install for someone not in the industry, for warranty to cover, packaging states to have installed by a professional.
Easier to installthan the original Nothing to dislike. Replaced (almost) identical make and model.
no more whining pump noise Easy install. Cleaner runs better now. The fittings and hose came with the pump and I had it replaced in less than an hour. I did have to cut one line and glue on a fitting, but no big deal.
The Right Pump We'd replaced our Polaris pool cleaner boost pump with a less expensive (same thing only different) pump that only ran a few years before the aluminum pump casing corroded through and made a hole in the casting spraying water on the pump motor. So payed a few bucks more and replaced it with the Polaris. It is working fine, but none of them seem to last more than a few years. Fortunate to not have to hire someone else to do the work.
