The Leaves Don't Have A Chance Have been comparing cleaners for years and knew this Polaris was what I would install. With installing my new liner this year I also purchased and installed the Polaris 280 and booster pump. They works great and efficiently together. Only have to run for a couple hours the days I run it, depending on need. It is the best cleaner if you have a lot of trees near your pool and the live oaks are getting ready to shed their leaves. I'm Ready for them.
Great experience over all! My Polaris booster pump of about 10 years finally started going bad or at least the bearings. The pool people quoted almost $600 to replace so I started the research and found the best price ever for this pump. It is $100 cheaper here than at the local pool store I called. Easy to install mostly because I replaced the same item but this one came with all new hoses and connector fittings (don't over tighten by the way they will snap off).
