Excellent pump, straightforward installation Saved more than $300 by purchasing and installing this pump myself. Installation was straightforward: 4 wires and two plumbing connections. Comes with flexible inlet and outlet lines and connectors. Can be wired for either 120V or 240V. Written instructions are reasonably good, but watching several YouTube videos gave me the confidence to install it myself. Very quiet. (My filter pump is so loud, I couldn't hear the Polaris pump at all.) Very pleased.
This unit has a habit of dying after two years of service if not shielded from the elements. It works great, very quiet and powers cleaner well.

Great replacement booster pump This was a replacement for my old booster pump to run my Hayward Phantom pool cleaner. It fight perfectly, and came with all the pieces necessary to mold into my space. It is whisper quiet and provides enough pressure that I had to place my pressure eating back a bit on the Phantom. Overall satisfied.

The Zodiac/Polaris PB4-60 is the OEM replacement booster pump for my Polaris 280 cleaner. My pool is 15 years old and this is my 3rd or 4th Polaris pump. In my case, the cleaner runs a lot and the pump sits out in the open year round so the abuse level is somewhat high.
