Great price and quick delivery It's no noisier than my original one which lasted twenty odd years. Easy to install. The odd thing that I saw was the old fittings for the flex line seem to be some what corroded or eaten away. My unit is fairly protected from the elements. So be sure to replace them with the ones in the kit. Weird, I've never seen plastic deteriorated like that. Maybe that's why the new ones are black. The PVC piping seems to be fine.
Great replacement unit at a very good price Tried to match my old unit in specs and this one came very close...in fact, the specs are superior to my old unit. Installed it. Left it alone and don't have to think about it again.
Perfect replacement for Poplaris pool sweep. Wornout bearings on original motor.
Noise level Shipment arrived ahead of time and installed perfectly. However, the motor is much louder than any other motor it replaced. It works fine, just noisy and more vibration than I expected. I hope it lasts through the summer.
So far so good Replacing the old (5 years) halcyon version of this pump which was screaming from a bad bearing. The wiring is identical so it was really easy to switch out the pump. It comes with the flex hose and new connections. I turned it on and it is very quiet so far, and the pressure is awesome. The only frustrating thing is that the holes for bolting it to the concrete pad are in different locations which I expected since the model is not 100% the same as the halcyon pump.
