Great product, great price, fast delivery Bought this brand name product to replace a 11 year old off brand that broke. Price was excellent. Delivery was within 3 days of placing order. Booster pump kit was complete except for female threaded adapters needed for existing PVC pipe and pipe thread compound. Replacing PB4-60Q Booster with PB4-60 Booster pump The more expensive pump(60Q Booster) started giving me problems after about 16 months. Leaking shaft seal and that big flat rubber band O-ring. The flat O-ring was the main problem, tried 3 new O-rings never lasted very long. Looked at the design of the PB4-60 and liked the fact, that the O-ring is actually compressed between 2 faces of the Volute. Similiar to how a gasket on a car. Polaris PB4-60 Booster Pump Bought this as a spare so in the event of a failure of my current pump, I would not be down but for a day. This is an exact replacement. Pool Supply World was the cheapest of many suppliers. Shipping was fast and reasonable.

Great product, lowest price - had to correct high flowrate I really just needed a new motor, but the cheapest would have been $190 delivered. I was a little skeptical that this was a Polaris product because everyone else had prices of $290-$350. I was happily surprised to see the Polaris packaging. Great Value The Polaris Booster Pump was priced right and arrived quickly in perfect condition. This was a replacement pump for a seven year old unit that failed. I noticed my old locking collars on the old flex hoses had disintegrated. I also had read other reviews about them being hard to install. I saved myself the headache and used four stainless hose clamps- simple, reliable, cheap. Installation was straight forward and it worked perfectly as soon as it was turned on.
