So far so good Replacing the old (5 years) halcyon version of this pump which was screaming from a bad bearing. The wiring is identical so it was really easy to switch out the pump. It comes with the flex hose and new connections. I turned it on and it is very quiet so far, and the pressure is awesome. The only frustrating thing is that the holes for bolting it to the concrete pad are in different locations which I expected since the model is not 100% the same as the halcyon pump. Quick and easy replacement The bearings were failing on my older pump +15 years old BTW and it was LOUD!! ordered this and installed it in about 15 minutes and it has made a world or difference. I can now use the pump at night when no one is in the pool and not wake the dead. Whew!
Amateur replaced this booster pump with no issues at all My old Polaris PB4-60 looked to be about 10 years old and the motor seized up upon opening up after the winter. I looked up and found this Zodiac PB4-60 replacement after inquiring with my pool company and hearing the estimate over $600 to replace. Polaris doing its job. Used for our pool. This product came equipped with everything (including hoses & pressure fittings).
Nice pump great pump may be over kill for some systems. You may have to change the disk in the connection female end.
