Pool Cleaner Pump I did not use the installation kit the pump came with, to me the flexible hose seemed homeowner-ish! Go to your local hardware store and buy PVC pipe and fittings it will save you time doing it right. Electrical connections are tight but that is common for this style of pump. Pump works well and is quite, overall it is a good buy and I would recommend it.

Really quiet This is my second Polaris pump. First one lasted about 9 years but you had to leave the pool area because it squealed so loudly you couldn't stand it. The installers said "that's just the way they are". This new pump is whisper quiet. You don't even hear it running from 10 feet away. Highly recommend.
