Good pump with a very good reputation. Could be easier to wire up I bought this to replace an 18 month old Pentair Boost Rite that was only used 2 hrs a day. The bearings failed on the Pentair prematurely IMHO. The pump I had before the Pentair was a Polaris that lasted about 5 yrs. This pump is larger and somewhat noisier than the Pentair and I think that the electrical terminals are hard to get to. None of this really matters if the pump is reliable and does it’s job. Exact replacement pump, easy to change out I bought this to replace a 17 year old pump that was screaming like a banshee. Everything was included that I needed to change the pump and hoses out. Took me about an hour or so and was very easy. The local pool store wanted twice what I paid on Amazon for the pump only and their labor would have been at least $200.

Just installed My old pump gave out after many years of service. It was here when I bought the house so I don't know exactly how old. This pump was an exact replacement of the very old one. Install was easy. I can't speak to reliability yet as it was just installed, but so far the pump is performing as expected.

Defective junk This product has already broken and just clicks when trying to turn on. I would not buy this again as I have other pump motors last years before breaking.
