Great Polaris pump! My pool guy installed this pump in less than 30 minutes and we haven’t had a problem at all. It’s quiet and works great!
Perfect replacement for ailing booster pump My new pump arrived the next day - thank you Amazon Prime - and it is a genuine Polaris booster pump which turned out to be more quiet than my old one when it was new. Installation was quick and easy. I would recommend tossing the old water hose connectors with your old pump, and using the included quick hose connectors for the new pump.

Good pump with a very good reputation. Could be easier to wire up I bought this to replace an 18 month old Pentair Boost Rite that was only used 2 hrs a day. The bearings failed on the Pentair prematurely IMHO. The pump I had before the Pentair was a Polaris that lasted about 5 yrs. This pump is larger and somewhat noisier than the Pentair and I think that the electrical terminals are hard to get to. None of this really matters if the pump is reliable and does it’s job. Exact replacement pump, easy to change out I bought this to replace a 17 year old pump that was screaming like a banshee. Everything was included that I needed to change the pump and hoses out. Took me about an hour or so and was very easy. The local pool store wanted twice what I paid on Amazon for the pump only and their labor would have been at least $200.
