Received the pump REALLY fast so thumbs up for that. I was replacing a dead pump in a less-than-ideal location as far as access goes. So, this was a bit of a challenge. My install took longer than anticipated but I chalk that up to the pump location. The instructions were reasonably clear having an existing installation made this simpler. I had some PVC replumbing to do given the newer flexible hose implementation. My old pump broke and I tried to fix it (after pricing a new one at my local pool store ($450). After $100 in parts and still leaking, I was on poolsupplyworld's site and found this motor. I bought this motor and pump. I had to do a little pvc plumbing work and I used threaded metal to connect to the pump and it works great. At this price it is less than half what my local pool store wanted.
