Polaris Sand/Silt Bag, 3900/280 - K14
About this business
Bag is smaller than it used to be These Polaris bags are pricey. The one I replaced had a large zippered bag. This one has a velcro opening, and is much smaller. I don't think I will purchase any more of these, will look for something bigger with a zipper.
Much better than the stock bag on the Polaris 280 I just purchased a Polaris 280 and it suggested that I purchase this item. Man was it the right decision. This thing captures fine sand and dirt that the stock filter bag may let through. I have had my pool full for 2 months after getting the polaris line installed and I have only had to backwash the filter once (and it happened 2 weeks ago). I also havent cleaned the pump basket except 5 or 6 times. It was a daily chore to clean the pump basket with my suction side cleaner (... read more
Silt bag works fine. I purchased the silt bag as an extra for my new polaris. I was expecting it to be identical to the original; it is not identical, but I think it is better because the fabric of the bag is more durable and has a finer weaver to strain out more of the small debris. This bag works great and is better for the fine stuff.
Great product! Received as advertised This is a great product at a great price! I received this item fast and it was exactly as advertised. it even came with the clip to attach to the hose. Not only was this an exact OEM replacement but it was almost 1/2 the cost of purchasing from my local pool dealer. I recommend this product and this seller.
Plolaris Sand/Silt Bag This product works as designed. Happy with the product. Nothing exiting. the product was delivered on time. I like Amazon service.
Beware of the quality I've had to replace this "OEM" bag 3 times within last 18 months. Original one I bought several years ago from a pool store lasted for years...these I purchased on Amazon last months. Bag easily tears at the seams.
Zodiac K14 Sand and Silt Bag Replacement 280 What happened? This bag is way smaller than the last 2 I have bought. Plus it cost more. Say's it's Polaris. I guess there doing what food manufacturer do. Smaller packaging, less and higher price.
Sand and silt go thru bag. I have had sand and silt bags before but this does not do its job. After pool repair I purchased this bag to clean up the sand/silt at the bottom of my pool. It is still there. Sand goes right thru the bag. Bag opening is so small that it is hard to empty the debris that is picked up. Most has to be empties from the bottom that attaches to the cleaner. Will not buy this one again. On to the pool supply store to get what I need.
Did not trap sand and silt inside of bag. Sand shoots right through. We bought this bag for the sand that collects at the bottom of our pool. This bag does not keep the sand inside. We watch as it rolls over the sand and the sand shoots right through the bag. Very disappointed. Works great with leaves though. We did not need the bags for leaves however.
