Bag tears / rips easily Bag works well to pick up sand and fine grit. This bag tears easily. Bought same bag at Walmart and tore in two uses. This bag lasted two months and already has tore twice. Need to go back to making in the United States not China!

Came unsewn This bag came unsewn at the top the very first day we used it. Very disappointed since I felt it was expensive.
Stiff material. Not good like it used to be. I have bought this product about once a year for a few years. The fine mesh tends to rip after a while, particularly with the large Magnolia tree leaves that fall into the pool some times. That's my problem, not the product's.This year when I reordered the product, I noticed that the mesh was more like stiff plastic than a soft cloth. It makes a big difference, for the worse. Beware of the quality I've had to replace this "OEM" bag 3 times within last 18 months. Original one I bought several years ago from a pool store lasted for years...these I purchased on Amazon last months. Bag easily tears at the seams.
Sand and silt go thru bag. I have had sand and silt bags before but this does not do its job. After pool repair I purchased this bag to clean up the sand/silt at the bottom of my pool. It is still there. Sand goes right thru the bag. Bag opening is so small that it is hard to empty the debris that is picked up. Most has to be empties from the bottom that attaches to the cleaner. Will not buy this one again. On to the pool supply store to get what I need.
Did not trap sand and silt inside of bag. Sand shoots right through. We bought this bag for the sand that collects at the bottom of our pool. This bag does not keep the sand inside. We watch as it rolls over the sand and the sand shoots right through the bag. Very disappointed. Works great with leaves though. We did not need the bags for leaves however.
Tore off in 6 months. I bought this in Aug '14 and the bag tore off by Mar '15. My 11 y.o. can pass his finger though it. . I was told by the seller to contact Zodiac 's 800 no. Apparently Zodaic bought Polaris and the CSR told me it is wear & tear, so nothing that can be done.I was dissappointed to hear that from Zodiac CSR & the seller who said to contact the company.Oh well, if it is a wear & tear item and if it is not going to last that long, then why not pay less and get a cheaper after-market.
