My new Polaris replaces one we have had for at least 20 years so we had no reservations in purchasing another Polaris. Unfortunately we had problems with it not working from the beginning. The company we purchased it from came out and found that the float on the back of the Polaris body was filled with water, which they said should not be. Just waiting for a replacment float and hope this solves our problem.

Pensacola Pools where I bought my Polaris TR35P Pressure cleaner, I found the Pensacola Pools representative well versed and knowledgeable about the Pressure Cleaner and very helpful to all my questions and final decision to buy it. I think it works great! I'm just waiting patiently for my rebate!

It does. a great job and is a hard working cleaner. However, after purchase the pool store where I got it told me it should be run every other day and removed from the pool when not in use to prevent early failure. Ain't gonna happen. Use it every day to keep up with the falling leaves. One would think construction would include build materials that can withstand pool water which is what it is for.

However, as a general tip, since plastic is susceptible to wear and tear with excessive exposure to sun and chemicals, always disconnect the Polaris from the pool wall when cleaning or backwashing the pool filter, always remove the Polaris from the pool before chemical shock treatments, and never store the Polaris in direct sunlight.
