Great custom service the store seemed to be appreciative. The Polaris works great and I'm so glad to have it. I had my 280 for 20+ years and I plan on getting good service out of my TR35P.

It does. a great job and is a hard working cleaner. However, after purchase the pool store where I got it told me it should be run every other day and removed from the pool when not in use to prevent early failure. Ain't gonna happen. Use it every day to keep up with the falling leaves. One would think construction would include build materials that can withstand pool water which is what it is for.

However, as a general tip, since plastic is susceptible to wear and tear with excessive exposure to sun and chemicals, always disconnect the Polaris from the pool wall when cleaning or backwashing the pool filter, always remove the Polaris from the pool before chemical shock treatments, and never store the Polaris in direct sunlight. Love the black color. My previous Polaris was over 10 years old and mostly white. After a few years it really looked tattered and worn. The new (to me) black will help keep it modern and sturdy looking.

I have been using Polaris products of similar design since my pool was installed in the early 80's. I purchased this one to replace my third after many years of faithful service. There was never any question that its replacement would be another Polaris.
