Unit performs well, but it is still hard to get used to the selection of black as the color for the hose.
Our 1st Polaris lasted 16 years, but was finally totally worn out. We decided to go with a newer version of the old one. It has been 3 weeks since the pool had a Polaris and within an hour the new one had completely gotten all the leaves up. We are extremely please with the new one. Just hope it lasts as long as the last one.

Compared to the build quality and reliability of the Polaris 3900 Sport that I replaced, this product is grossly inferior. I have reported this directly to Polaris. My advice - If you had a Polaris 3900, you need to think carefully about replacing it with a Polaris TR35P!

Hard to get the directional trim just right, and I’ve seen it pass over debris without picking it up. Also gets tangled in the cord more than other cleaners I’ve seen. However the tail sweep works really well
Great little machine but gets tied up in its self and stuck on ladder
