We really like this cleaner. We had a Polaris 3900 Sport for years and really liked it too. Two of the things we aren't crazy about with this TR35P Cleaner is that the hose does not had a quick connect/disconnect like the 3900 Sport and the bag for collecting the debris is smaller than the 3900 Sport.

Our first Polaris lasted 30 years with occasional work done on it. We recently replaced it with this model, so far so good. It only takes a couple of hours to clean our pool and that's great since I'm constantly monitoring or electricity usage. We hope this one is as well made and durable as the last.

The cleaner works great but sometimes gets stuck in corners and has to be manually unstuck.

To prevent the cleaner from getting stuck, check the following: 1) Verify proper flow by counting the wheel revolutions per minute (RPMs). 2) Ensure the backup valve is cycling on and off about every three minutes. 3) Adjust the thrust jet to change the directional path of the cleaner. The Polaris is amazing! It does a fabulous job cleaning the pool. Even with some pine needles and a few leaves falling, it continues to keep the pool spotless.

Retailer was great help. Still haven't received the rebate although submitted on time . Need extra float since reverser doesn't float high enough so sometimes the equipment ties itself in to a knot

Very easy to put the equipment in the pool. Lighter and less memory in the cords. Much more pliable. Vaccum is efficient.
