Worst service ever!!! This company is terrible. Took us 5 months to get this completed. Everything was piecemeal. First, it was the cover. Then whoops you need a new system. If you get the new system we can mount the nice key unit on the wall, nice and convenient. Then whoops can't do that. Then it was whoops this system is a different size and your cover won't fit. See the review The first technician came while I was away. The cover still groaned and didn’t always open all the way. It was just as it was when I requested service. I was sent a bill which I paid but complained that the work was either nonexistent Or just unsatisfactory. A second technician arrived and I was here. He said the pulleys were worn out and replaced all of them. There was no kSbir charge; just. Charge for the replacement pulleys. So one service call was terrible; the second was fine.

Poor customer service The review is for initial interaction only as the service was not provided. I called them to setup an appointment. They gave me an appointment 2 weeks out on MLK. I asked the rep whether they work on MLK and she confirmed. However on the day of the appointment, the technician didn't show up. Upon calling them, the rep tried to reach out to the service personnel. She mentioned that the service personnel forgot about the appointment and has left the town. Very dissatisfied with customer service and cost of parts. Since I had my pool installed ten years ago, Pool Covers, Inc. has been a terrible company to deal with. They had seemed like the natural choice, it's right there in the name of their company. However, from the start, there seemed to be issues and I wish I had gone with a different pool company. Horrible customer service. Im a Project Manager and I hired pool covers inc to install a pool cover at a clients home. It is now malfunctioning months later. When I called to get someone out to fix the cover that was installed too tight, they were rude and told me they would call with a schedule in 2 days and most likely could not make it out for 10 days. Frustrated. We have had our pool cover for 5 years and they were fine to deal with for installation. Yesterday our cover ripped while we were closing it and it's stuck 3/4 closed. We called for an appointment and have to wait over a week for the rep to come and give us a quote and he said it will take 4-5 weeks for a replacement cover. Here it is summer and now we can't use our pool...absolutely disappointing!!! Wish we had used a larger company so we could actually get service in a timely fashion.

No service, high charges, held hostage,. The pool is located in a fenced in locked pool yard. No children are present. The pool cover has been operating for 6 years. The main travel bar fell out of the track. The plastic slides had disintegrated and needed replacement. The service person arrived 2 business days after call, refused to service the cover as he said I needed to purchase a new cover and they would not do anything to make the cover work until I bought a new cover.
