FUN The home and office labeler is just the help I need to get a lot of my crafts and just about everything else organized neatly.
Loving it! I bought this to label all the stuff my 3 yr old daughter takes to preschool, mainly sippy cups and plastic food containers for her lunch box. They were disappearing one after the other and I was tired of replacing them. I considered the cheaper handheld models that did not offer a print preview, but finally found this one on sale for an extra $10 and went for it. I'm really glad I did. -It is extremely easy to use. Nice labeller. I bought this unit because I liked all of the different fonts it had available. It works pretty much like any other P-Touch labeler, but I bought this particular one because of the font selections available on it.
Nice little home labler I purchased this to help label the cables and switches on my entertainment center. I had a few assorted 9-12 volt AC adapters that seemed compatible and thought I would try them with this unit instead of using batteries. The unit would not turn on with any of them, I am not sure if they just didn't have a good connection or if they were no longer working. So, I purchased the 6 AAA batteries needed and set to work. Great for staying organized I bought this item to help me reorganize my home filing cabinet and other documents. Having a printed-out label instead of a hand-written one helps a lot more than I thought it would. It's great to be able to print them as I need them, instead of waiting until I have enough to do a batch job through my computer printer. Ink faded in letters printed on label I purchased the brother P-touch a few years ago, and it has been good until now. When I print a label, the ink is not showing up in all the letters printed. I don't see anywhere that you can replace ink, or ink ribbon. I thought this would be something that would last me for a very long time, this was not a good purchase.
Battery Hog when powered OFF I thought I had a lemon, but it appears many others have the same issue...this thing eats batteries. It even drains them fast when the power is off. If I use it, I attach a power cord (transformer type).
Not user friendly Instructions were not clear. Is there a video with detailed instructions?
Battery protocol is a disaster. They go dead even if device is turned off. Battery disaster. I have replaced four sets even though the device was turned off.
