Crisp, Clean Labels. Only one complaint... The Brother P-touch Home and Office Labeler prints very nice labels. I have only one complaint though well maybe 2 depending how others interpret this. The beginning of the strip, one inch, is wasted and the end of the label, one inch, is wasted. Two inches of wasted tape per label. My question is WHY? I have found no solution for the 2-inch of wasted tape. I have searched the Internet for the solution (Googled, DuckDuckGo'd, Yahoo'd) but found none. Another person seems to have the... read more

Pricey AC adapter not included. Brand name product, worked great at first. However an AC wall adapter is not included. I tried using a universal adapter but after about a year the print head was missing a line causing a streak in the print out. Not sure if there is any relationship between these two issues . . . so although painfully-priced, buy the optional Brother AC adapter.

I had read reviews that complained about its label waste. I just printed out "Roku 3" to remind ... Purchased this in April of 2015. I had read reviews that complained about its label waste. I just printed out "Roku 3" to remind me of what HDMI port I was using. After printing the whole label was one and five eighths inches long. "Roku 3" was a little less than five eighth inches long. You can do the math but one whole inch of label was thrown away. Much more than 50%. What a waste. Brother however is selling a product where... read more

Great concept. Kills batteries. This is a cute little device with a good concept. However, there is a design flaw where it drains your batteries, even when the machine is off. So, if you're like me and only need to label things once-a-month or so, unless you remember to take out your batteries, you're gonna need to put in fresh ones (6 AAA's) with each use. That ain't cheap, considering you only need the label maker for about 5-10 minutes at a time. I'm going to buy the AC adapter now to compensate, but then of course, you l... read more

Works OK but runs down batteries It works well enough but it is wasteful with tape. The main problem is that it runs down the batteries - even if it is turned "off". You need to remove a battery each time to keep that from happening.

A lot of label tape is wasted as it seems you must have a 2 inch ... The battery on this thing dies very quickly. A lot of label tape is wasted as it seems you must have a 2 inch margin on either side of the words. The machine itself just fritzes out on occasion and will not power on despite battery changes. Then one day it is working again. Very frustrating to use and a lot bigger in size than I would like.
