If I were you, I wouldn't trust my pet with this clinic. For my appointment, they took my dog away (to the basement) where you aren't in the room for checkup or treatment. Then, a vet technician comes out to tell you what they did, but is clearly uninformed and couldn't answer our questions (actually, they did, but with the wrong information). We had to demand to see the veterinarian (for which we waited for after two other appointments). There's plenty of other great vets in the neighborhood.
My employee's 20 year old cat had a number of seizures, probably strokes, over the weekend. Her quality of life has been rather low over the previous months: not eating, cleaning herself & potty problems. Now she can no longer walk after the strokes, so the decision was made to put her down. Since she did not have a vet nor could afford the service, I stepped in to help. This vet is two blocks from our apartments so it seemed a logical choice. I left a message detailing our situation on Sun. They open Monday at 7am. ... read more
Went there because dog had broken leg. They put wrong splint on and dog went from not so serious injury to requiring surgery two weeks later. Have all the proof anyone needs to see for yourself. Steer clear. They are only in it for the money.
The vet was recommended to me & despite living downtown with my new pup, I had absolutely no issue traveling to them. I had just gotten my pup @ 8 weeks & she tested positive for giardia. I realize giardia can be very challenging to treat. My pup ended up testing positive for giardia FOUR TIMES IN A ROW!!! The treatment consisted of Panacure & Flagyl & there were various combinations tried with stopping & continuing, etc. I followed the protocol to a "T" because I'm that meticulous. At fourth time in a row of testing ... read more
Okay....I'd like to find a more attentive place. We feel Pure Paws is extremely expensive. They recommend hundreds of dollars worth of test and our pets results have always been extremely healthy nothing wrong (thank Goodness!) But a thousand dollars later you kinda feel you've been swindled/bamboozled$! We've experienced much better care in the past from other veterinarians. I wouldn't recommend Pure Paws if your pet has a chronic condition. Besides being expensive, I feel the care isn't top notch!
Brought 2 kittens in to get their vaccines and be spayed. Ask for a price quote and it was going to be $2050,,$1600 was just for the spaying! I'm sure from reading the comments they are friendly etc but that didn't justify paying that ridiculous price. Guess they figure everyone in the neighborhood now is rich in these new doorman buildings and are suckers. Went a few blocks away and the vet there did everything for $650 total for my 2 kitties with excellent outcome. These new overpriced vets are the reason most can't affor... read more
Overall, the facility is very clean and the appointment booking process was smooth. They're very flexible when it comes to booking appointments. I was able to get a last minute appointment for my dog with no hesitations. I walked in with the intentions of getting a urine test for my dog to make sure he didn't have a UTI. I explained to the doctor that my dog had a physical with his regular doctor just a couple of month's earlier and I had no serious concerns regarding his health. After we met with the doctor, he tried to co... read more
