Don't waste your time avoid- Review is a copy of email I sent to pure paws and they never contacted me so I opted to post here. I went to this appointment but never got the opportunity to see Dr. Cheung- after reading pervious reviews now we are relieved. firstly I arrived receptionists lovely as always on check in. I left a wonderful review for this veterinarian if few years ago things have changed considerably and we know go to a different vet (Heart of Chelsea). I like it much better there they are more personable and attentive and sadly Pure Paws when completely downhill. I rarely like to change bets, or Drs of any kind. I like the familiarity, but it was so bad I had to go.

I've been going to Pure Paws for several years now to get annual check ups done for my two cats. They have always gone well and both the cats have received many compliments for their agreeable behavior. This recent visit was quite a contrast to prior visits. The vet was skittish around the cats and marked them as aggressive - now I'm not one to get defensive about their behavior but anyone who has met my cats knows that they are both extremely friendly and love people. I couldn't be more upset and feel completely scammed by this clinic after we've been going here for four years. When we saw Dr. Liff I thought we were taken care of, but recently no one else here has been helpful. It's so disappointing. I brought my dog in for a limp a couple of weeks ago. He was briefly examined and I was told to get a lyme disease test but the vet couldn't even figure out what/how he was limping- which leg etc but we guessed the left because he got more annoyed with us touching that area. I would stay away from this place. Worst experience. One, it is like a factory. They just try to push you to give unnecessary medications to your pet and they are very quick to charge you for them. Two, they extract funds from you which they are not supposed to. When looking at the reviews here, it is clear that I should not go there to begin with. They are careless, terrible staff. Do NOT give them your credit card. Ever.

When I first brought my dog a year ago they were good. My experience lately has been horrible! I've had to call numerous times for test results and don't get call backs. I'm done... I will take my Angel to a place that cares.

Terrible veterinary care!!! I am a dog mom and have emotional distress after hearing what happened to my dear friend's pooch who left the vet with scars on his face from being mishandled. Never going here!!!!!
CARELESS AND SHAMEFUL STAFF / SERVICE!!! Yesterday (7.6.22) we went to the clinic for a routine heartworm blood test. I left my dog with the nurse (Jona T.) and when he got back my dog had two ugly wounds on his face (see pictures attached to my review). The technicians pulled him so hard that the gentle leader burned and removed part of his flash on his face. They treated my dog very bad as if she is not a thing alive. They took my dog to have a test but I was hearing the screaming from my dog and ran to her. I saw they were trying to take her out of the cage but in very tough way as if they are not treating a thing alive. I complained about it and the nurse said "I was just doing my thing."
