I rarely post reviews for any business, but the service we got here was exceptional! Pure Paws doctor (we saw doctor Alex Schechter) and staff truly go above an beyond!! You can tell how much they care about animals and you will not find a staff member there, from front desk to assistants to nurses to the doctor himself, who comes in just to do their job and goes home. A great new veterinary center in the heart of Hell's Kitchen. The staff is excellent and the facility is brand new. The standard of care is 5 stars and I would highly recommend this veterinary center to anyone.

I usually avoid vets in NYC. I've had too many experiences where practices see pet parents who are concerned with their animals as endless ATM machines. Unfortunately, one of my dogs was sick and needed veterinary care. Pure Paws had just opened on 42nd and I called to ask about fees and services. I spoke with Dr. Liff (the owner). Dr. Schechter and all the rest of the staff are kind, thorough, and know how to listen. They are not judgmental about holistic approaches, are supportive, and work to track down the answer to complicated issues. Dr. Schechter knows his stuff and is smart enough to care about it. I travel to see them and it's unquestionably worth it.

Dr.Liff and her team were great! I was able to make a weekday morning appt before work and the routine checkup took less than 30 min. They were through and gentile with Kenley who like every other dog isn't fond of getting blood drawn or shots. Dr.Liff went through the list of routine procedures and 1 or 2 extras she recommends for dogs who live in the city. Dr. Liff has been caring for my yorkie, Jack, for more than 5 years. She has always taken such close, personal care of Jack. Dr. Liff is an amazing vet! She puts both my and Jack's nerves at ease no matter what the situation. Dr. Liff and her office staff always go above and beyond whether it's making house calls or checking in the day after a visit. I highly recommend anyone taking their pet to Dr. Liff and Pure Paws!

Dr. Liff has cared for 3 dogs in my family for the past 9 years. We have followed her from NYC to Brooklyn at other practices and Pure paws and couldn't be more excited to continue the relationship back in NYC with her as our vet. She is attentive and calming with our furry family members and they are genuinely happy to see her which is always a comforting feeling. Went in to get a vaccine for my 6 month old cat -- figured try the new place in the 'hood rather than trek 30 blocks to our regular vet. Wow. Probably the most state-of-the-art animal hospital I've ever seen. Brand new equipment across the board in a smartly laid out space. More importantly, though, the team at the hospital couldn't have been nicer. They are always closing before hand. Don't come. Came at 6:30 and they are closed when they should close at 7. even 10 minutes it's ok but 30? nah
