RADIANT CONDUCTED ILLEGAL, UNPERMITTED WORK! RADIANT DID NOT INFORM US THAT THE WORK REQUIRED PERMITS! RADIANT IS AVOIDING ADDRESSING THIS ISSUE! We would have never agreed to allow Radiant to replace our ductwork if we had known that they were doing it illegally. Paige, We apologize for your concerns over this situation, but as discussed previously the “illegal” work you are alleging is not accurate or truthful. The scope of work that was completed has been reviewed by the City of Austin's building permit department's management, and they agreed that we followed proper guidelines. Had a tankless water heater installed by Radiant (2020) and was recommended it go on the outside of the house. Well 3 years later and I'm on my second heater (first one exploded along with all the copper pipes during the snowmaggedon Feb 2021), paid for heat tape to be put on by Radiant yet I can't seem to stop the heater from malfunctioning due to ice built up inside the unit and around the bottom pipes resulting in no hot water if the temperatures goes anywhere below 32F.
