I had a problem with my coils freezing which resulted in the house not cooling. I tried a retail coil cleaner and hair dryer on the frozen coils, but it did not fix the problem. I had an appointment and asked how much it would be to clean the coils, even before anyone came out. I got a refusal to answer and was told a tech would let me know. When my air conditioning broke in mid-June, I gave them a call, scheduling the service out two weeks on a Wednesday when I would come back from out of town. I confirmed the appointment the prior Monday, by which time my home was 90 degrees at night. Wednesday morning rolls around and I receive a call from the technician, saying he would be coming out and would he need a ladder? So I sent him an estimate of my home's height, a two story building.
