BE CAREFUL: I was charged nearly $7,000 for a toilet repair and it did not even fix the problem. They have sent 7 different plumbers and still can't fix it, and all I have been offered is a $500 discount! This problem has been going on for over a month and I can't even get a manager or owner to call me. After the first plumber could not repair the problem, they sent a "salesperson", obviously salespeople are supposed to sell and he sold me big time.

Don't let the cute ads fool you. Radiant does NOT charge by the hour. All their services are a-la carte. That meant for me that to auger my toilet (after a guest clogged my toilet with plastic), it was a set price of 375$. BTW, the auger left a brown stain that needed a return visit when a magic eraser and serious scrubbing wouldn't suffice. When the auger didn't work, the plumber removed the toilet and placed it in my bathtub (??) thus placing a large chip and some smaller ones into my refinished tub (see pic) in order to... read more

Beware of this company! Technicians openly soliciting tips, telling you they will reduce charges on their work if you "take care of them". Misdiagnosed leak problem, after charging more than 1K for cleaning out drain lines, another tech "discovered " it was a supply line leak, they fixed it, then claimed it was not fixed, said I have a leak still on the "hot side", insisted that they needed to do a 24K dig under the slab! I discovered the "hot side" leak, mysteriously after they left, I had a TMP valve leaking on my hot wate... read more

My sewer drain stopped up due to tree roots. They located the problem with a camera which cost a little over $900 for an hour's work. The stopped up area was in my front yard next to the driveway. He said it was 3 1/2 feet down and they would need to cut out a section of PVC pipe and splice in a new piece using collars. I asked him how much that would be and he said $5,000. I was shocked, not ready for that price. I asked if they could come down and he said that was the base price. I asked if they used a Bobcat or som... read more

UPDATE: restoration 1 did a great job of repairing the damage Radiant Plumbing caused to my home. But I did have one last bad interaction with Radiant. At the end of the remediation, they sent a plumber to reset a toilet that had been taken off to lay some flooring. The plumber took a chunk of drywall that was covering the pipe and busted it up into little pieces and shoved it down the pipe because he "didn't know what it was". First of all, what kind of plumber doesn't know what a piece of drywall looks like, and second of ... read more

Business response:

Jason, we apologize for the error our technician made and worked to resolve this as quickly as possible. We have confirmed with Restoration One that they have completed work and remedied the situation. While it's rare we have instances like this, we did repair the damages that were caused by an accident as quickly as possible. Again we apologize for the circumstances but have worked to make sure your home is back in the same condition as before.

They reached out to come do a "free" inspection of our HVAC system. As I'm sure most of should be aware by now, nothing in life is free so I should have known something was up. Their technician Reid showed up and started his "inspection" which tripped our breakers serval times and made our thermostat act pretty weird but i assumed this was all par for the course (it wasn't, as this has never happened any time our regular HVAC guy does his inspection). Once he was done, he began explain to me in a words he knew I wouldn't und... read more

We bought a water filter from a rival company that burst open last year when the temperature dipped below freezing. Since then, we called Radiant and the tech suggested we switch out to a cheaper filter that was easier to maintain and cheaper to manage. We agreed and had the work done for a hefty fee as well as a removal fee for the old unit. We also paid for extra insulation and were told that there was a warranty on the unit. Excellent. This year, the tank exploded even with the insulation on the pipes and when we called ... read more

I purchased new AC and furnace units from Radiant and had concerns about getting the new furnace into my attic, which is nothing but a crawl space, and that I did not want to have to cut open my sealing in order to install. The salesperson told me not to be concerned and walked me through three options of getting it into the attic, said it would be fine and should only take a couple of hours to install. The installers came and after two hours of trying they said they had said they didn't know if they were going to be able t... read more
