Radiant is horrible. Don't use them. We were using Woods Comfort as a monthly service. We ended our service with them, because they charged so much money for a leak when the ac system was not cooling down to the temperature selection by a few degrees. Woods said we had a leak and charged us $1900 for finding and repairing the leak. Obviously, they charged to completely fill the system when the system was not completely low. Fast forward to 3 plus weeks ago, over a year after the "leak" was repaired, we call Radiant out to se... read more

On two occasions I have tried to schedule maintenance on a unit installed two years ago. Both times I was told they were not scheduling maintenance service. It appears they want to only do installations and rake in the big bucks. I won't be bothering to try again, there are too many companies who are glad to have the business. If you value service after the sale, look elsewhere for your AC installation.

I thought I had a clogged toilet that I couldn't fix (toddler learning to wipe...) and called for service. After the serviceman simply turned on the faucet to my bath he promptly gave me two options of $450 or $1100 to unclog the toilet. I told him that was ridiculous and found that a hose simply needed adjusting in the tank. That would have taken two seconds and I would have felt stupid but paid the $90 service fee but he didn't even check the toilet before trying to charge me.

Avoided either a scam or the mistake of an incompetent technician... While I used to live in Austin, I have since moved and am a remote landlord, renting out the townhouse I had purchased. About a month ago there was a leak in the ceiling, so my property manager sent Radiant to investigate. They cleared the primary drain line, which solved the problem. The technician also said I needed a full primary drain pan and float switch replacement for upwards of $1,100. I sent a competing company (with much higher ratings) to inves... read more

Never used their services but their drivers could use some work. Cut me off at MLK and Lamar.

this company is way overpriced!! we had a water leak and i got a notice from the city of Austin so i went online and Radiant was the first company that popped up so i called them. they presented me with an $11000 bill for find ing the leak and repairing. since i didnt know any better i took their word for the bill. upon further review i wrote a bad review about the job and bill so they called me and lowered the bill by one-half. so i was left with a bill of $5400 for a leaking double check valve. because i knew no bet... read more

They ridiculously overcharge. I had the small tower part in my toilet replaced. Took him 5 minutes. Par costs maybe $10-20 at Home Depot. They charged me $450. Do not use EVER.

Austin Energy detected a large leak at my house while I was away on vacation. They shut off the water and told me to call a plumber to evaluate leak and fix. Called Radiant and they sent a person out and said it would cost me around $6000 to fix issues. I didn't have much choice since I was gone and didn't want any further damage, I agreed. Long story, short. The leak was in my irrigation system, which they didn't tell me until after deciding I needed ton of other stuff done that had nothing to do with the leak. They thought... read more

Poor quality service always different guys coming out and none seem to be knowledgeable I wouldn't recommend this company very very expensive and then I found out they laid off half the company including good techs then just laid off another 20 percent and it's just a terrible expensive corporation I will go elsewhere
