The staff is very helpful. They are very attentive to dogs. They have been taking care of my dogs for the last two years. I have only used for vet services. I do not know about their boarding.
Great animal hospital. My dog, who is 9, and cat, who is 12, have been going there their whole lives. I've seen all of the veterinarians, but saw Dr. Brown most recently (the last two annual visits) and she is wonderful, very caring and really listens. They always recognize my pets by name and treat them like family. I'm adopting a new dog soon and will be bringing him here as well. Staff (techs and front desk) have always been friendly and it's easy to make an appointment. They don't try to sell you things you don't n... read more
Visited this vet on a recommendation from a friend and I was extremely pleased! Coming from South Florida where certain vet centers are crazy expensive I feel like I received the same care and attention from this one. Dr. Emily Brown took amazing care of my cats and always explained everything in great detail to put my mind at ease. The receptionists are also very friendly. I highly recommend this hospital and specifically Dr. Brown!!
My boy Barkley (he's the one in my profile pix) started going to Rea Rd when he was a puppy. We moved to LA, but when we returned we tried other clinics closer to home. Sadly, after going through 3 separate clinics that treated us more like dollar signs than people & pet we returned to Rea Rd. Unfortunately, cancer had taken a hold of Barkley's spleen. Rea Rd could have offered the multi thousand dollar surgeries, but instead Dr Smith treated all of us like we were part of the family. Barkley went to the Rainbow Bridge a few... read more
We've been bringing our dogs here for over 3 years, and have received top-notch care from annual check-ups to surgeries to boarding. Dr. Dozier and Dr. Michael in particular are wonderful, caring and provide a level of excellence that I've not encountered before from any vet. In the past year, we've had to put down two senior dogs and the level of care that came from the entire staff was amazing - cards, hugs, tears, etc. This is a staff that truly cared about our animals, from check-in to vet tech to doctor. When we now b... read more
Dr. Smith. ALL DAY. She is by far the best vet that I have seen here. I'm a picky pup parent, and we've hopped around vets a little bit. Basically, as silly as it sounds, if I get one wrong vibe - I'm out. Dr. Smith is warm, friendly, patient and thorough. She answers all of my questions and concerns, making everything easy to understand and explained. With Thor being deaf, she is very sensitive to him and lets him take his time. I love her. I feel differently about the grooming department; I dropped Thor off here once f... read more
We have been using Rea Road Animal Hospital for almost 10 years. They have always been professional, courteous and incredibly knowledgeable. We have seen them for everything from general checkups to the loss of a beloved pet. We love the staff and and all the Doctors. Highly recommend them to anyone.
We have had a great experience with most of the physicians here. Dr. Dozier is a fabulous surgeon and performed two successful knee operations for our dog when he was younger. . My children adore Dr. Gillis, who is probably the most caring person I have ever met. Those two in particular are the most sensible doctors and understand that sometimes finances have to be considered with a old pet with serious chronic disease. They helped us find affordable compromises and I truly believe Dr. Gillis singlehandedly bought ou... read more
