Food was delicious and well presented. Waiter was excellent, attentive yet unobtrusive.
While visiting New York City recently, I remembered a wonderful experience from the RedEye Grill from years ago when I often traveled through that great city. So, I made a reservation for this trip! It was a beautiful Saturday evening, and we could eat out of doors and it was just a lovely experience. This was my first time back in 5 years and the food was just as delicious as it was then! Fish/Sushi was very fresh. Host/Server was also very accomodating.
I have eaten here many times and when I recently had the pleasure of enjoying lunch w/my son, we were not disappointed. I had the lobster roll special and my son had the braised short ribs. Both were excellent. We had an early lunch, 12pm, and enjoyed the excellent service and quiet atmosphere. The noise level picks up with additional diner, but never above a conversation diminishing din. Redeye Grill still a great open and airy place to enjoy great food, service with friends or family.
Only complaint was oysters and clams were small and tasteless. Rest of seafood was excellent. Pricey. But fun for a special occasion.
Great find for choosing on line. We were in New York from Baltimore to see Cabaret. We enjoyed the ambiance, our great meals and the service was impeccable. Our waitress Gina was very personable and attentive and while speaking with her we learned she was also born and raised in Baltimore....what a coincidence. She moved to NY to follow her dream of acting and succeeded! Would highly recommend the Redeye Grille for a great pre-theatre dinner or for any occasion. My husband ordered the Ribeye and it was very flavorful and cooked perfectly! We would definitely go back on our next visit to NYC.
This restaurant is on my top 10 list. Food is always delicious, service is always tops and the entire staff makes you feel welcome.
Meat were delicious and restaurant was nice. It was close to our hotel which we needed for the kids and it was a perfect choice
