Food is good, but the prices are too high. The outdoors and location (Carnegie Hall, MOMA , Fifth Avenue) make the restaurant the best choice. Service is excellent.
We make it a point to dine at Redeye Grill whenever where in NYC and they never disappoint.
I love to get lunch at the bar. Quick, easy with a great ambiance. Food is always delicious and fresh. And I always grab some chocolate on the way out.
Nice quiet place between times square and central park. Nice atmoshpere, clean well dressed decor. Food was very good and waitstaff was pleasant and prompt. Was a slow night for them but the quiet and cozy ambience was exactly what we were looking for that night.
We have all frequented this restaurant before and have never been disappointed. We appreciate the quality and we appreciate that the restaurant never seems to rush its customers.
A great lunch venue (and probably dinner too) near Carnegie Hall. I'm pleased every time I visit. Attentive service, great decor and atmosphere, and priced well.
Redeye Grill continues its usual great service food and ambience.From the friendly and cheerful greeting upon arrival, through a delicious meal, Redeye never lets down, Added treats include passed-around cheese biscuits (quite tasty and hot) and miniature chocolate chip cookies. The waitstaff is very attentive and the food is consistently fresh and very tasty. We highly recommend Redeye as a pre-theatre dining esablishment. It is a great way to start off your evening.
We met some out of town friends at the Redeye for dinner. It was a quiet evening. The service was excellent. The pace of dinner was perfect, not rushed or too slow. The food was well prepared and the dishes were interesting. Who could have thought of Miso Matzo Ball soup?? It was delicious.
Went to Redeye for a co-workers bday lunch. It was perfectly fine. The wine and the service were the best out of the whole meal. Absolutely nothing wrong with the food, it was good. I just don't have anything overly bad or great to say about it. I'm sure I would go back and it's perfect for exactly what we went their for.
