Excellent food and service at this restaurant. The cocktail lounge is a great after-work experience as well.
Whenever being in New York I try to go to Redeye Grill and had never been disappointed. Delicious food and very good service. Will come again!
We're from out-of-town and often eat at Redeye when we're in the city. It's close to the theatre district and Carnegie Hall and the food is always top notch with great service and a great vibe. Not sure what "real" New Yorkers think but we love its consistency and its urban vibe.
Dependable food and service. Great location. Nice to have a Manhattan spot that is reliably good, and offers a range of option, including (of course!) excellent fish. Also nice to have a place where tables and diners are not so close together to allow you to participate in other peoples' conversations! We were surprised at the poor quality of the bread offered before dinner, but otherwise a solid experience. Perhaps a bit overpriced...
A most pleasant experience. White table cloths, an assorted menu, good wine choice by the glass and even half bottles. Matzo ball soup in a miso broth was excellent as was the halibut. The server had great personality and was helpful re dietary needs. Being next door to Carnegie Hall makes it a good pre-theater venue. A most pleasant evening!
Never been disappointed there. Expansive seating...excellent food...fabulous desserts.

We had read about their seafood appetizer for 2-3 so we had a salad and had the appetizer as our meal and my wife and I could not finish the appetizer because it was so large. The seafood was fresh and excellent!
You pay for the location and outdoor seating. The food was average at best. The service was very good
