Great food, great atmosphere, great service - can't wait to go back.
This restaurant is tops! I have dined alone, with a friend, and with my husband. As an out of towner (Rhode Island) in NYC to see a play or concert at Carnegie Hall or Lincoln Center, this is the place. The food is tops...salmon meunière, filet, lobster salad...the absolutely freshest, tastiest salads, and the service is excellent, from the maître D's humor to the waiters' suggestions. While the food and service were quite good the high prices and very loud, large space was not conducive to a dining experience.
great for uptown theaters, helpful and accommodating staff and although the restaurant is large the noise level is completely acceptable.
Oysters were terrific! Open late was a great find.
It was my first time going and I loved every minute of it. The food was amazing and so was the service. Will definitely go back there.
My husband and I went here for lunch before going to a matinee. It was perfect. The restaurant was beautiful, the food was delicious and the waitstaff was very professional. The Redeye Grill has a fancy vibe, but not a pretentious one. It was wonderful.
I had theCod and my wif the Tuna. Both weree excellent. However the hit was the clam chowder. It actually had clams inside, whole clams. I loved it and it was served hot. The pretzel rolls seemed a little stale , but that maybe just the ones we were served. And no cookies this timne.
Visited on a busy Saturday but service was still spot-on. Had steak and was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Portions are very large so shared a side order of fries and couldn't finish them. All in all a good lively dining experience.
