Pricey but very delicious. Loved the chocolate bark on the way out.
We ate at the REG on 12/26, extending our Christmas festivities. All 5 meals (all different) came out hot, perfect & delicious. We experienced a relaxed atmosphere, listened to live music and never felt rushed. Although it was quite pricey, the food quality & service made up for it. We will put it on our list to return again for a special occassions.
We had a reservation, but we weren't able to determine who our waiter was. We asked one of the hostesses to find out, she did and went up to him. In a low voice, he told her that our table wasn't his and she disagreed. She sent a helper over to take our order. The gentleman who was our waiter never came over. We waited for 15 minutes before getting assistance. Our food arrived at 6:50 pm and we had to leave at 7:00 pm for a 7:30 pm show because my mother uses a walker. the food and service was awesome! my 3rd time there and it was wow!
While the food was delicious our table seemed to be the meeting place for all the staff. We overheard all the conversations about sitting parties, staff complaints, a customer screaming in a waiters face. My party and I kept looking at each other in disbelief. For the very pricey meal I could have done without the circus act
The waitress and staff made our Christmas lunch fun and memorable. We have and will continue to recommend them to our friends and we will visit again upon our next visit to NYC.
I spent a most enjoyable evening entertaining my son and fiancée The service was unbelievable, the view fantastic, and the food was excellent. This was my third visit to the Redeye Grill. .
We had a group of 6 and all of us really enjoyed our meal. It is a pretty place and has light jazz in the bar area. Very capable chef put out nice seasonal salads, tender short ribs (generous portion), crispy outside/soft inside grilled artichokes, excellent trout over seasonal veggies. Food id overpriced for lunch. Lobster roll was greasy and looked better on the plate than it tasted. The french fries saved it. Lively pretty place. Service was good although slow to begin the order.
