Get directionsWe had a great meal, with a large party. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating and the food was outstanding! Three of us had the short ribs. They were some of the best I've ever had. Also interesting was the hot dog! We're coming back!
The atmosphere and ambiance was friendly and happy. The space was ample. The menu extensive, with highlights in fish and meat. Our group was 4/ 65'+ plus a mid-fortier - all connected by family in some way. We were from the City and Connecticut. It was the first experience for all with this venue. We all had drinks, appetizer or salad, entrees, no desserts. I selected the locatioon as part of the former Shelly @ 57St. (?) chain. We had a simply fantastic experience at this restaurant. The people were very welcoming, the food was great as was the service and we left feeling really good about everything. Highly recommended to anyone who appreciates good food coupled with great service :-)
I imagine this restaraunt gets most of its business via tourists. The food is incredibly over priced and just okay. The lobsterac and cheese I was very excited about: it was a small portion and takes like boxed Mac and Cheese with a small peice of lobster. The location is good: close to the theaters. Turkey the only plus side to going. I heard dessert is good but we didn't get that far.
Food is good, service always excellent as all of the related places.
They still come around with hot biscuits and cookies, but the food quality has declined. Lobster roll tasted stale, as if the lobster had been around a while. Even the banana cream pie disappointed, not as custardy as before.
My wife and I had a great time. The food was great. The service was excellent and the over all experience was incredible. I love nice restaurants and this one is top notch. I would highly recommend the redeye Grill and I will definitely go back.
We had a wonderful time at Redeye Grill. We especially enjoyed the scrumptious stone crab legs--as good as the ones we've eaten in Miami! The halibut was perfectly cooked, as were the braised short ribs, but the steaks were a bit raw for our taste, despite sending one back to be cooked a little more, yet tasty. We especially liked the service--the offerings of hot tasty treats, including cheese biscuits and brownies--as well as the water glass refills. You will be well taken care of and well fed when you leave!
Excellent spot before attending a concert at Carnegie Hall
