Get directionsTry the scallops bearnaise. It was to die for. Excellent service. The waitstaff was very helpful.
Reliable and interesting menu. A bit expensive for what they give you.
Great time with some good friends for lunch. Went with a toddler who did not like the lemon ricotta pancakes (yum). The team was kind enough to bring us some grilled cheese (which went over very well). They did a great job overall.
Service impeccable, Last minute reservation for group of 7 called to confirm reservation. Menu has great variety. Servers are attentive and knowlegeable about menu,.
The food was delicious, and it was not too loud. My parents were visiting from out of town, and they were very happy with the menu and food as well.
Sunday night dinner at Redeye turned out to be a terrific experience. The braised beef and the lemon sole were beautifully prepared; the beef-eaters and the fish-eaters were totally satisfied. We all shared the chocolate sundae (called something else) which was too good. Be warned: Sunday night is not typical of weekday noise. Lots of pre theatre, pre concert folks make a difference during the week. Nonetheless, the restaurant was full and the music was pleasant.
Redeye Grill consistently provides a welcoming atmosphere that is followed up with a friendly waitstaff and very good menu choices. The tasty food is brought at a comfortable pace, and there is no sense of rushing. Although a bit north of the broadway theatres, it is wll worth th short 5-8 minute walk to this non-touristy restaurant before the show, or even after the show.
I love Redeye! Whenever I visit NYC, Redeye is a must. Food, service, atmosphere are all fabulous. How can you not love a place that has free chocolate!
Not as good as it used to be. Guess that is why the restaurant was only half full.
