I am glad my husband suggested we give this place a try after almost 2 years since our last visit, as he heard it had been redone after going down hill over the years. My husaband was right! It is now back as a great restaurant near a great venue. The service was excellent and the jazz during dinner just loud enough but not intrusive. The service was attentive but not rushed. I had the crab cake with shrimp over spinach with a side order of fries. My husband had the lobster and shrimp lasagna. We both would recommend these e... read more

A varied menu with the least expensive item on the menu being a $25 hot dog, and the next fish and chips for $28. I had the Alaskan King Salmon, tasty but a very small portion considering the price was $38. Additional ala carte vegetables are $12 each. I am used the prices in midtown but this restaurant takes it a big step farther than other restaurants in the area. As you might guess I won't be beating a path back here.

This was my third visit to the Redeye Grill. I have eaten lunch outside with my teenage sons, enjoyed a lovely dinner with a special friend, and returned the next morning for a fabulous brunch. The food is consistently good, the atmosphere is classy yet very welcoming and the service is definitely above average.

It was my daughters 15th birthday and she wanted a place that was fun and had good ambience. It worked out very well although the kitchen was a little slow getting out the food. The waitress was very good, but the busboys need to be more attentive with water and bread service. Overall a good experience and I would not hesitate to return.

Great place before or after Carnegie Hall. Food is very good, and the service is generally very attentive as well.

We've eaten at the Redeye Grill 4 times over the last several years - twice each for lunch and dinner - and each time we've not been disappointed. When we're undecided where to eat while visiting NYC, we can always count on the Redeye for a great dining experience. Tried the smoked salmon and burrata flat breads this last time which were excellent. We also had the lobster rolls for lunch which we found better than most we ate in Maine the week before! Service is excellent and our server Caroline took very good care of us whe... read more

Every single thing about our dinner at Red Eye Grill was perfect. I've been there many times before, but I was with 4 newbies, and they could not stop raving about everything. The service could not have been more attentive, the food (especially the pumpkin soup with crabmeat!! Oh my!!), diver scallops, NY Strip steak, spicy brussell sprouts with cashews...all delicious! We shared 2 desserts: fresh strawberries, which tasted just like summer served with the silkiest whipped cream, and the cheesecake topped with berries and th... read more

Food was great. unfortunately, a server knocked over a glass of champagne and spilled on my wife's lap. The management was slow to respond and was disappointing in terms of how they handled. We very much enjoyed the food.
