I've been to Redeye several times and every time I go I am delighted! The ambiance, the service and the FOOD---my scallops were heavenly and my husband's crab cake/shrimp entree were DELICIOUS! Everyone I've sent here just loves it!!!
Food and presentation was great. Side dish of Brussels sprouts, with tasty sauce/flavorings was fantastic although way more than for two. Wife's meal was a bit on the cool side...a bit surprised but no complaint. Wait staff very attentive. Cocktails were fresh, creative and tasty. Wine selection good. The name was a bit misleading...nice live jazz playing most of the time we were there- even 10-11pm midweek.
Great food, perfectly prepared, attentive service. If it was a little less expensive it would be even better!
The Cafe has been re-designed and it has a warmer and more welcoming atmosphere. Food as always superb. Wait staff very attentive.
You can't go wrong here, lunch, dinner, in between. The food is wonderfully prepared and ably served. Prix Fix at Lunch is a great deal. And save room for dessert. The newly renovated dining room is more like a private club. Go try.
nice for an aftershow dinner with family, an occasion or wining and dining. I thought we received small portions for the price we paid. Food is def cuisine if i recall correct...this is a place more about ambiance, scenery, the way the food is prepared rather than being just about good filling grub. I liked it.
OUR GROUP OF 4 HAD A THOROUGHLY DELIGHTFUL LUNCHEON DINING EXPERIENCE AT REDEYE & WE ALL LOOK FORWARD TO OUR NEXT VISIT. THIS WAS TRULY AS GOOD AS IT GETS!!
Special occasion was our friend singing at Carnegie Hall: can't beat the location across the street from Carnegie Hall. Looked like a very robust bar scene; beautiful murals & wonderful wood decor made for a very enticing dining experience. The food certainly does not match the decor! Just off the south end of Central Park. The food was delicious and our server was very attentive.
