Get directionsThis was a pleasant surprise (and was the inverse of my recent experience with Ruby Foos). I have been coming here for brunch and dinner for the better part of a decade and have seen this restaurant rise and fall. Seems to be an attitudinal problem with some of the staff, front desk particularly.
From the minute I sat at the bar until I left after dessert, the whole experience was great. The service was excellent. Would definitly recommend and return. Ready to go back!
Not the Redeye it used to be! The overall was good, due to the company I was with. What happened to the awesome lobster cobb salad and service? The waiters got most of the orders wrong.
Very expensive for Sunday lunch; $28 for fish and chips but they were good (not great but good). Service was slow. Nice music in the bar.
Nice menu, lots of fish selections. Hostess was very accommodate to my 3 year old and we enjoyed our meal.
We unforunately were seated in a "party room" type location that was quite boring. We lost the feel for the dining experience of what was a vibrant crowd/place.
During this visit we strayed from the classic fish menus and were disappointed. The NY strip was beatifully cooked but was tasteless. We also ordered the fish & sushimi platter and the clams were horrible, however the salmon tartar was excellent. We'll go back because of the atmosphere.
Very expensive for 4 people, over $350.00 dollars without drinks.
