Have been here several times--great place in the theatre/midtown area.
Was here about a year ago and it was fantastic. Returned this past weekend, still good and very nice service, though disappointed that there are no longer chocolate chip cookies after the meal.
Accomodted our group of 7 very well. Food was good but not great. A little overpriced for ala carte and what we received.
We definitely didn't mind waiting (although we had a reservation) when we were presented with complimentary Prosecco! The server was outstanding... The food was tasty, but the shrimp were not as hot as I'd like (I'm a stickler for hot food).
The duck quesadilla was a great appetizer to share. We go here for the fish and we enjoyed the lemon sole simply grilled and the arctic char with onion marmalade. The banana cream pie here is a real treat as it has chunks of banana and not just banana pudding filling. Service was excellent even though we were there before a Carnegie Hall performance when the restaurant is always crowded with dinners who have a curtain. Our favorite restaurant in the area.
The menu provides an excellent array of seafood dishes, all expertly prepared and quite flavorful.
Great menu that caters not only to carnivores. Food was outstanding and the open air feel with leather bar stools made it feel like an upscale steak joint with a more trendy atmosphere. We didn't stay long enough to hear the late night jazz which I had read about.
Super fresh seafood, but very loud and packed space. Good for groups only.
our waiter was fantastic, recognized me after not being there for a while, and was really great. food was very good.
