The food was sublime. The service was impeccable. I have been there several times, and i cannot wait to go back. The cocktails were among the best i ever tasted.
Don't leave without trying the banana cream pie.
I'm never disappointed at Red Eye. The wait staff is very attentive without being overly bothersome as in some restaurants. Good food and great location!
Solid choice for a pre-theater dinner, with a somewhat predictable menu, pleasant ambience, and warm, knowledgeable servers. Perfect location for Broadway, Radio City, Lincoln Center, etc. No noteworthy pros or cons, but expect a well-cooked dinner (with sizeable portions), an adequate wine list, a wide variety of creatively-prepared appetizers, and a scrumptious dessert tray that readily persuades you to stay just a few minutes longer.

This was my 2nd visit to the Red Eye Grill. From the moment you walk in and greeted by the host who is very personable and friendly, to the waitress who was very attentive. The food is amazing I had the Shrimp Fra Diablo and my husband had the Paella (said it was the best he ever had) and served as though it's a work of art. It's my favorite place to go and now its my husband's.
Redeye Grill offers great seafood as well as steak, and the ambiance and service are superb. Bravo!
Great meal for 4 adults and 2 children. A surprisingly kid friendly meal other than giving our 4 yr old a huge and heavy drinking glass. The restaurant split the meatloaf onto two plates w no charge, the hostess walked around w warm oatmeal cookies from time to time and at the end of the meal the server brought out cotton candy for the kids! This was a repeat visit (over one year later) to Red Eye Grill. We were greeted as though we had been their yesterday. The service, attention, food quality, and warmth exceeded our expectations. Everyone made us feel welcome and special. I have recommended this restaurant to friends that are planning to visit NYC. I will certainly return again and again myself when I visit.
