Redeye Grill is one of my favorites in NYC. You lived up to your standard by providing great food and a fabulous server.

I often come here for brunch before afternoon concerts at Carnegie Hall, and am never disappointed. The food is delicious, and the staff make every effort to ensure you are having a good time.

We've been to the Red Eye Grill four times now. Whenever our theater or music venue is anywhere nearby it's our first choice. The service is excellent and the food is great. I always order the seafood paella and I'm never disappointed. My husband is more adventurous and each dish has been very good. We had a desert there for the first time and the banana creme pie was innovative and luscious. The half-bottle wine list has some good choices. It's a little pricey for us but we'll definitely be back.
Instantly seated even though we were thirty minutes early without a question. Excellent table service, we asked our waiter to select our wines, and after a few considered questions he returned with two excellent glasses. Fillet mignon cooked perfectly black and blue, the 8oz is more than enough unless you've not eaten all day, wide choice of sides to go with it. Crab legs scampi style are also perfectly done, well worth trying the risotto pancake if you've not had it before too.
We enjoyed the dinner. Wait staff was superb.
Whenever we stay in midtown we go to the Redeye. It's just up the street from our lodging at West 57th and always dependable for good food and service. We are seafood addicts so usually go for a fish dish, and both my wife's salmon and my sea bass were excellent choices. What we enjoy most about Redeye is the carefree ambience; everyone seems to be having a good time, it's always full, and people of all ages seem to be enjoying themselves.
