met an old friend, great service and food. Have been many times and love the Red Eye!!!
Need improvement on there white wine offerings. Food was creative and ofhigh quality. Wait staff was excellent.
Overall experience was good - had fun. Only call out was the Lobster Mac & Cheese my friend ordered. She seemed disappointed that there were only 2 lobster pieces placed on top. The menu made it sound as if lobster was mixed in with the pasta. Maybe it should be called Lobster with Mac & Cheese so doesn't seem misleading.
The peking duck quesadilla appetizer was delicious and could be shared. The wiener schnitzel served traditionally with a fried egg and spaetzel, but also some smoked salmon is always a favorite here. The menu was diverse enough so that if you wanted to eat sumptuously, you could or , if attempting to stay on a diet, one can do so with sufficiently enticing salads and vegetables available. The bread basket will have you off your low-carb diet, however, because it is delicious! ... read more
Across from Carnegie Hall, which is why I first dined there. Found the food to be excellent, especially fish, but everything on the menu is good I think. Excellent service, attentive without being intrusive. Main dining area quite noisy, the raised level in the front less so. Pricy.
According to the manager, the presence of the Board of Health was causing a delay in our lunches being served. To his credit, he was highly apologetic and comped our lunch as a courtesy.
We had an excellent dining experience at Redeye Grill. There were 5 of us and everyone ordered something different and everyone said it was great. The waiter was perfect, knowing details of the offerings and making suggestions; he even put together a starter that was not on the menu. The pricing is in line with other NYC restaurants, but the food is better. Good value for money.
food was great. service was excellent!
