The fish is always great - go with the server's recommendation if you like the choice! There are always some homemade surprises.
Be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes for the clay pot roasted items, but it's worth the wait.
Hard to pick with this menu. The King crab California Roll was DELICIOUS. Paella with just the right saffron, and Dover Sole Meuniere that melted in your mouth. The noise at Redeye bubbles but is not overpowering. We've been twice now. A booth will be quieter if that's what you seek, but a table by the broad windows has a nice spacious feel.
The Redeye Grill is a solid choice in the Midtown West area. They offer an extensive winelist and creative menu. The food and service quality is always very good. You can't go wrong by going here.
We love this place. It isnt inexpensive but it worth the extra few dollars.
The appetizers and raw seafood are always superb. Try the clay pot sea bass--always delicious. The banana cream pie is great. Wait staff is attentive. Good place pre and post theater and for weekend brunch.
Will definitely return on my next trip to NYC.
This restaurant was very good. We ordered appetizers, entrees as well as one of each of the desserts. No one had one complaint about any of the courses. I especially liked the freshly baked cookies that were offered to us from a server walking around the restaurant. The service was superb and I can safely say that I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
The restaurant was recommended by a work colleague so we made sure we reserved a table before leaving the UK. Despite the heavy snow, the restaurant was very busy. We were a bit early, so made ourselves known at the reception desk and then had a drink at the bar. We were then seated ( after our table was hurriedly prepared. ) The food was very good but the service was a bit poor as our waiter had brought the main course to the table before I had finished my appetizer. This was the only downside to the evening.
