Our dinner at the Red Eye was great. The food was superb and the service was excellent. Our only complaint was with Open Table itself which led us to believe that the Prix-Fixe menu from the New York Dining Specials was available on the night we selected, which turned out to be completely incorrect.
The food was very good - fresh, well prepared and with more than just a splash of imagination. There's the main room, which is brightly lit, warm and fairly, but not too noisy. And then there's a side room, which is dim, quiet, and cold. And I do mean cold. We asked the waiter to have the heat turned up several times, which is too bad since the food was delightful and should be enjoyed in a suitable environment. I'm sure that if you eat in the main room you'll have an enjoyable eating experience.

Excellent fish. Salmon was excellently prepared. Fixed Prix dinner was a great buy and the dessert was just the right size.
We went for Sunday dinner booked under your Restaurant Week advertisement. That promotion is not offered on Sunday evenings at this particular restaurant. You need to verify your information on this issue and adjust the computer program accordingly.
We really enjoyed our evening at Red Eye Grill. The food was really excellent......except my filet mignon was a little fatty , which it shouldn't of been. It was very loud, but that is what the place is. we will be back.....to try the sushi!
The food was excellent - no complaints there! My only disappointment was that the table was too small and it was very noisy where we sat. Additionally, we found the service to be efficient at first and then deteriorated as the evening progressed. Since we've been to this establishment a number of previous times, we were quite surprised at this.
Our group had the restaurant week menu and definitely enjoyed the food. However, our waiter was either new or just confused -- he forgot about us for a while, brought one of us the wrong kind of wine (different from what she had ordered), and then tried to bring us our check without dessert, which we had already ordered. Still, we enjoyed the atmosphere.
Loved this place! Excellent and friendly staff. Fabulous desserts...especially loved the cotton candy! My 20 something children will love this place too.
