Redeye is a wonderful restaurant just across the street from Carnegie Hall. Whether or not you will be attending a performance, the dinner here will be an event of its own. From the art on the walls to the fabulous menu items, Redeye provides a marvelous dining experience. The staff is most accommodating and professional; the chef is a master of fish. As an additional treat, warm just baked cookies were offered to each table after a perfect meal on our last visit. Go and enjoy.
The staff was wonderful and the food was delicious. The Dover Sole is a must have.
Our dining experience was fabulous! We 5 women loved the food, ambiance of the restaurant, and waiter! The "dancing shrimp" was the only let down - overdone. However, with this being our first experience here, the Dover sole was.... orgasmic! The sushi excellent, and the Malbec wine perfect (recommended by our waiter). Now...to the banana pie - UNBELIEVABLE! We did not need the profiteroles, but could have used 2 more pieces of the pie. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Thanks to the LIRR, my husband was 30 minutes late for our reservation. However, even with the rest of the diners looking to get out before 8 PM our waiter managed to get our food to us quickly enough that we made it to our concert just in time. And the food was wonderful! We will be back for a more leisurely dinner and hopefully soon!

Very good fish and seafood dishes in an attractive comfortable environment. Convevience to Carnegie Hall is a big plus. A littlr pricey.
The food, service, and ambiance were all excellent. I have no criticisms and many good things to say about this experience. We will go back and often. For an evening at Carnegie Hall, this is about as good as it gets.
